Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine - $315 to $335 per hour in Galesburg, IL
We are currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. You will provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of cases in a Level II Trauma Center.
Requirements:
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible within 5 years of completion of residency ACLS certification required Valid Illinois medical license Minimum of 12 months of experience in Emergency Medicine
Schedule:
Part-time, 10 shifts per month Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM Inpatient setting with no call requirements
Practice Setting:
13 ED beds, 81 inpatient beds, 28,000 annual patient volume Average patient volume of 2 patients per hour We uphold a standard of care that is compassionate, consistent, and emphasizes the well-being of patients and staff
Cases & Procedures:
Provide immediate medical attention to emergencies involving adult and pediatric patients Perform standard emergency procedures including intubation, central lines, joint reductions, sedation, laceration repair, and lumbar punctures Manage patient care in a single coverage environment at night
